Steps

Descale wash and cut the fish into pieces

Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and fry the fish from both the sides and keep aside

Now fry the Potatoes adding salt and turmeric powder and keep aside

Heat oil add Cumin seeds bay leaf and red chilli

As it crackle add onion chopped saute well

Add ginger garlic paste saute till raw smell goes away

Add tomato puree and red chilli powder and mix

Now add the Potatoes combine well

Add warm water boil

Add fish and simmer for a while

Add sugar (optional) and garam masala powder

Serve it with rice
