Every now and then we all have that leftover cake in our home that nobody wants to eat. And sometimes we don't know what to do with those broken pieces of biscuits or cookies that left at bottom of our cookie jar. Here come's the rescue!

Every now and then we all have that leftover cake in our home that nobody wants to eat. And sometimes we don't know what to do with those broken pieces of biscuits or cookies that left at bottom of our cookie jar. Here come's the rescue!

Grind the cookies in mixer grinder. Make custard of yourchoice and let it be cool and then keep in refrigerator to chill. Put jam or fruit conserve in a bowl and mix it with few tbsp of juice or sugar syrup. Keep it aside.

For assembling slice the cake into slices. Take a flat dish and spread an even layer of cookie crumb on it. Press it with your hands to smoothen up. Now place cake slices over cookie layer. Spread juice over it to moisten the cake layer.Spread whisked jam evenly on cake. Spread a layer of finely chopped fruits(mango, banana, kiwi or any fruit of your choice) over cake layer. Sprinkle some chopped nuts for crunch. Pour a layer of chilled custard over it and cover the initial layers properly.

Smooth the custard layer with spatula.Repeat the process except the cookie crumb layer. Keep in mind that last layer should be of custard. Top it up with thinly sliced apples. Keep the dish in fridge to set and serve chilled.
