This is all time favorite comfort food. Whether on diet or not this quick daliya khichdi with veggies is must try.

Wash and soak daliya and moong day for 10-15 minutes.

In a cooker add oil. Add cummin and mustard seeds along with cinnamon. You can add bay leaf cloves or other spices if you want.

Add chopped garlic, ginger, onion and saute for a while. Now add all vegetables and saute for 4-5 minutes.

Add soaked daliya. Add turmeric, salt and red chilli powder as per taste. I love this low in spice.

Pressure cook up-to 3-4 whistles.

Daliya khichdi is ready. I like it with curd and beetroot pickle.
