Steps

Put water in idli pot for boiling 1 glass of water

Make sure that the water level is below the idli tray cover the pot and let the water boil on high flame

Add salt into the batter mix it well grease the idli tray with oil put one ladle of batter in each tray like this

Reduce the flame to low put the stand in side the idli pot cover the pot and let it cook for 12-15 minuter on medium flame
- 5
Check it with tooth pick turn off the flame take out the idli tray carefully let it cool down a bit

Gently take it out the idli with knife
- 7
Remove all the idli pieces in the same way idli is ready
- 8
Serve the with coconut chutney and sambhar
