Bring tamarind, water, cardamom and sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Let the mixture simmer for 10 mins, add lemon juice and then switch off the flame and let it cool completely.

In a tall glass squeeze your orange to get the juice, pour tamarind juice half way, then fill the glass with water. Adjust to your taste.

Enjoy your tamarind orange juice. Note: You can chill the juice and take it cold during hot seasons.
