Ingredients

  1. 500 gground beef
  2. 2sausages sausage
  3. 2medium onions, finely chopped
  4. 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  5. 2 cansdiced tomatoes, undrained (14-1/2 ounces each)
  6. 2 canstomato paste (6 ounces each)
  7. 1/4 cupwater
  8. 1/8 cupsugar
  9. 1/8 cupWorcestershire sauce
  10. 1 tablespooncanola oil
  11. 1/8 cupminced fresh parsley
  12. 1 tablespoonminced fresh basil or 1 teaspoons dried basil
  13. 1/2 tablespoonminced fresh oregano or ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  14. 2bay leaves
  15. 1/2 teaspoonrubbed sage
  16. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  17. 1/2 teaspoondried marjoram
  18. 1/2 teaspoonpepper
  19. Hot cooked spaghetti

Steps

  1. 1

    In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, sausage, onions and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

  2. 2

    Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oil and seasonings

  3. 3

    Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Discard bay leaves. Serve with spaghetti.
