Ingredients

  • 1 cupsabudana
  • 2small to medium size boil potatoes
  • 1/2 cuproasted peanuts
  • 8-10curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoongrated ginger
  • 1green chilli
  • 1 teaspooncumin
  • 1/2-1 teaspoonlemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspturmeric
  • 1/2 tspchilli
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder

    Soak sabudana for 2 hours.After 2hrs, drain it and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    In a pan dry roast the peanuts till browned and when cooled make a coarse powder in a mortar-pestle or in a dry grinder.

  3. 3

    Mix the coarsely powdered peanuts, salt and all the spices with the drained sabudana.

  4. 4

    Now heat peanut oil or ghee. fry the cumin first till they crackle and get browned.

  5. 5

    Now add the curry leaves and green chilies. Fry for half a minute and then add the grated ginger.

  6. 6

    Stir till the raw smell of the ginger goes away. Now add potato and saute for 1-2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Add the sabudana. Keep on stirring the mixture.

  8. 8

    Don't over cook as they might become lumpy and hard.

  9. 9

    Serve sabudana khichdi hot.
