Sieve all purpose flour, add baking powder and 1/4 tablespoon of sugar in it and mix well.

Now add ghee in the flour mixture and mix it so well so that it starts holding shape.

Now add curd in the mixture and mix it till all the ingredients combined well (don't mix it a lot) and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes.

Cut pieces from the dough and shape it like balushahi.

Meanwhile, heat ghee in a frying pan and drop balushahis in it and fry them till it become golden brown in colour.

Now, prepare sugar syrup of one string consistency.

Now drop fried balushahi in the sugar syrup and allow it to absorb syrup for 4-5 minutes.

Then take it out of the sugar and serve it hot or chilled.
