    Soak the moong dal for 2 hours

    Blend it into a coarse paste.

    Fry for 15 minutes in ghee on low flame. Then it will crumble.

    Add water and milk. Then mix it well. Add sugar. Then mix it well.

  5. 5

    Cover for 5 minutes to cook in low flame. After 5 minutes open the lid add cardamom powder,cashews,and raisins.

  6. 6

    After that give it a mix and serve hot with some cashews and raisins over it. That's all moong dal halwa is ready.
