Jowar Roti Delight

This is a special Maharashtrian dish. The combination of Jowar Roti and the various vegetable and spices is a perfect blend of flavours! It is a easy and quick to make recipe and can be taken as a tiffin snack. It is also very healthy and can be included in all your meals, or even eaten as a one-dish meal.

1. Make small pieces of the jowar roti and keep aside.

2. Take a deep pan. Put the oil in it. When the oil becomes hot, put mustard seeds.

3. When the mustard seeds crackle add a pinch of turmeric, the onions, tomatoes, spinach and cook for 5 minutes.

4. Add salt, chilli powder, roasted coriander powder and cumin powder. Then cook for 1 minute.

5. Add the jowar roti pieces and mix well.

6. Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.

7. Serve hot! Enjoy!

Note: You can garnish it with coriander leaves, and you can prepare this dish with any vegetables that you like! You can even make this with chapati.
