Ingredients

  1. 2 cupVeggies grated/chopped (capsicum, cabbage, onions, cauliflower and carrots)
  2. 2 cupsAll Purpose Flour
  3. 2 tbspCornflour
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/4 tspBlack Pepper powder
  6. 1/2 tspGarlic grated
  7. 1/2 tspGinger grated
  8. pinchOrange colour
  9. 1 tspBaking powder
  10. 1/2 tspChilli flakes
  11. Gravy
  12. 1Capsicum finely chopped
  13. 2Green chilli chopped
  14. 1Spring onion cubes
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. 1/2 tspSoya sauce
  17. 1/2 cupTomato sauce
  18. 1 tbspChilli sauce
  19. 4Garlic cloves (chopped)
  20. 1/2Ginger (slivered)
  21. 1Onion (cubes)
  22. 1/2 tspRed Chutney
  23. dashWhite pepper
  24. 1 tspCorn flour
  25. 3 tbspTamarind sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Make sticky dough of dumplings using very less water, add veggies and mix well. Deep fry to golden crispy dumplings, keep aside.

    Gravy:
    In a pan put 1 tablespoon butter, keep on flame add ginger and garlic saute add chillies and onion then add veggies and sauces, cornflour mixture and salt add dumplings and mix, garnish with chilli flakes and spring onions, serve hot.

    NB: if you want dry manchurian don’t add corn flour mixture
