Delicious colourful starter to serve in any celebration party during winter season.
A pattice skillfully prepared with winter vegetables like kand ( purple yam), potato stuffed with green peas- coconut-coriander filling.
Made in Airfryer as well as deep fried.

A pattice skillfully prepared with winter vegetables like kand ( purple yam), potato stuffed with green peas- coconut-coriander filling.

Steps

Boil kand (purple yam) and potato in pressure cooker for 4 whistles. Peel and mash both boiled kand & potato, add 2-3 tbsp corn flour and make smooth mixture.Make 10 equal portions and roll into balls.Keep aside.

Coarsely grind boiled peas,(keep few peas aside).In mixing plate add mashed peas mixture,grated coconut, green chillies ginger paste, sugar powder, chopped coriander, and salt, squeeze lemon juice on it and mix all to make filling mixture.

Apply oil on palms,take one portion of kand- potato mixture ball.. flatten it into 2" daimeter.

Put 1 tbsp of pea- coconut-coriander mixture in middle and cover it.

Make round balls. Similarly prepared all 10 in this way.

Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour.

Or Apply oil on prepared balls,place in preheated Airfryer..Airfry for 20 mins on 180C..till they are crispy and golden brown in colour.

Serve hot KAND PATTICE(Airfried/ shown in fig) with coriander green chutney and tomato sauce.
