Mini Dorayaki Mini Dorayaki
After a lot of experimentation, I got it to taste just like the ones in the stores!*Prep before: Bring butter, eggs, and milk to room temperature. Sift the flour.Use a crepe pan, because it distributes heat evenly! Adjust the temperature on the stove depending on how fast it cooks. For about fourteen 5.5 cm [2.2 in] pieces. Japanese Style Pizza Toast Japanese Style Pizza Toast
I got a bit bored with the usual tomato based pizza toast, so I used what I had in my kitchen and made this.I used store-bought teriyaki chicken. It's nice with sausage too! Recipe by Nanagukun cookpad.japan -
Soft and Chewy Dorayaki Soft and Chewy Dorayaki
Store-bought dorayaki is so soft, chewy and delicious that I decided to create this recipe. The pancake mix makes it so easy, just mix it up! It would have been better if I had made homemade tsubu-an (chunky sweet bean paste) too, but... this time I just used storebought tsubu-an.If you use a Teflon pan or hotplate, you won't need to use oil and the dorayaki will look better cooked this way. However, it will stick if your Teflon pan is worn out, so be careful. Also, the "pancakes" can start to dry out after they cool, so make sure to cover with plastic wrap.Tip: I like to use a mix of 25 g each of dango flour and glutinous rice flour. My Dorayaki (Red Bean Paste Pancake) My Dorayaki (Red Bean Paste Pancake)
I was craving moist dorayaki that wasn't too sweet. There aren't really any hints to share, since it's quite easy. I recommend wrapping each dorayaki in plastic wrap and storing in a resealable bag overnight. This makes it even more moist and delicious. For eight 8 cm-sized dorayaki. Puff Pastry Pizza Puff Pastry Pizza
This is another "clean out your fridge" vegetables puff pastry pizza. If you have been following me, you will know that this recipe is largely inspired by my previous Jamie Oliver's Reverse Puff Pastry Pizza post. You can use any vegetables you have on hands or hidden sadly at the back of your fridge. I am using whatever I can find in my pantry and fridge; leeks, mushrooms, carrot, chili (green and red), tomatoes and even caixin stalks.I tried to make this a vegan dish, but I do not have any vegan cheese left. I am using a combination of mozzarella and feta, again with whatever I have on hands. You can of cos use any cheese you desired. You can also veganize this puff pastry pizza by using vegan cheese and puff pastries.I cannot find canned tomatoes in any grocery store here, not even in major supermarkets. I guess everyone in Singapore decided to make pasta and pizzas during this lockdown period. I decided to make my own tomato sauce. You can, however, opt to skip the whole process if you have canned tomatoes. The local fresh tomatoes are a bit bland. So, I went thru' the trouble of roasting them to add flavors. The same goes to the vegetables I was using. If you have an outdoor grill, perhaps this is the time to fire it up. You can also use a griddle over a stovetop; I am just using a normal skillet. Without much delay, let's get started with the recipe. Daniel Lim -
Toasted Barley Flour Waffle-Style Dorayaki Toasted Barley Flour Waffle-Style Dorayaki
I wanted to make a fragrant and subtly sweet dorayaki. I was able to make waffle-style delicious dorayaki by using an bean past and thin toasted barley flour. I updated the ingredients so that the batter would not harden even when chilled in the fridge no matter how much time passed. Please adjust the amount of cream and an past to your liking. My family likes adding both. Koshi-an goes better with this, but it is also quite delicious with tsubu-an. Recipe by miyuki12 cookpad.japan -
Mochi Pizza Mochi Pizza
I made this dish using kagami-mochi (mochi rice cake decorations) from our New Year's decorations.Pay attention and adjust the heat while cooking. Adding some water prevents the mochi from getting burnt and helps it cook faster. You can freeze the sauce, so make a large amount and use it for later. It can be used not only for pizzas but also in pasta dishes. Bento Fluffy Pizza Cups Bento Fluffy Pizza Cups
A favorite around my house for Lunches. I’ve been making this way before little Caesars came out with crazy puffs , this is just like them you can flavor as well with zap seasoning if you have it.Can be eaten hot or cold. I didn’t do a dipping this around because I used all the pizza sauce i had on hand, but I normally add in a throw away soufflé cup with the dipping sauce. I food prep this for the week, but it must be completely cooked before adding to the containers and putting the lid on and adding to the fridge. Can be heated in the microwave or can have cold both are good. Also makes for a great appetizer or for a movie night, or game night with some sliders. #CrazyPizzaChallenge snackle time
