Heat 1tsp oil in a kadhai.

Add onion to it. Cook for a while.

Add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and green chilli to it.

Cook till tomatoes get mushy.

Add soaked cashews, poppy seeds and all the masalas except garam masala.

Cook till oil separate. Cool the mixture and grind it into a fine paste.

Heat the same kadhai, add oil to it. Add the onion paste to it and cook it for 2mins.

Add cream and garam masala to it.

Cut paneer into cubes and add it to gravy.

Serve hot with lachcha paratha.
