Ingredients

10-12minutes
4-6 cups
  • 1 literapple juice
  • 1orange
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonswhole cloves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonsfreshly ground cloves
  • 6cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoonground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoonallspice
  • Substitution for allspice - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon plus 1/4 teaspoon cloves plus a pinch of nutmeg

10-12minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the orange into 8 wedges. Insert cloves into the sides of each orange wedge.

    Pour the apple juice into a pan. Turn the stove on medium heat.

    Break the cinnamon sticks and add them to the juice.

    Add the orange wedges, allspice, ground cloves and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.

    Sieve the juice into mugs and garnish with cinnamon sticks and a slice of orange. Enjoy!
