How about some pizza! 🍕 We all know going to that local pizza joint us going to cost us big time in fat and well, calories too! Lol! But I came up with a low-fat alternative. I used leftover ham we had from Christmas dinner. I do suggest only using 1oz. of meat per pizza though as that is where most of the fat will come from. And if you use olives, use only a Tbs. as they are also high in fat, a good fat, but still fat. Eat up and enjoy pizza again, your way! 😉

Ingredients

  1. 2Whole Wheat Pocketless Pitas
  2. 4 Tbs.Tomato Sauce
  3. 2 Tbs.Black Olives, sliced
  4. 2 oz.Ham, diced
  5. 2 Tbs.Onion, diced
  6. 2Mushrooms, diced
  7. 1/2 C.Fat Free Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°. Place pitas on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Place 2 Tbs. of tomato sauce on each pita.

  3. 3

    Place 1 oz. of ham on each pizza.

  4. 4

    Place 1 Tbs. of olives and 1 Tbs. of onions on each pizza.

  5. 5

    Then top each pizza with ¼ C. of cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes. Or until cheese is melted and edges of pita are crispy.
