Ingredients

  1. 150 gramspigeon peas (crushed)
  2. 100 gmsGreen peas (crushed)
  3. 1 tbspdesicated coconut
  4. 2 tspginger chilli garlic paste
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  6. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  7. 1/4asafoetida/hing
  8. 1 tbssugar
  9. To tastesalt
  10. 1/2lemon juice
  11. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves (finely chopped)
  12. 1/4 cupgreen garlic(finely chopped)
  13. 1 tbsraisins
  14. 1 tbscashewnut (chopped)
  15. 2 tbspsev
  16. 1 tspoil
  17. For frying Oil to fry
  18. For Upper layer
  19. 4big potatoes (boiled and mashed properly)
  20. 2 tbspcornflour
  21. To tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 1tsp oil in pan add pigeon peas and peas saute for 20 minutes at medium to low flame, let it cool completely then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Make small balls.
    For upper layer mix potatoes, cornflour and salt and form dough make little big ball then stuffing.Now roll potatoes dough ball and flatten it. Place stuffing ball bring the edges toward the center and gently seal the edges. Now heat oil and fry 5-7 Pattice at a time. Serve with coriander mint chutney
