Ingredients

1 cupmung dal
1 cupsunned rice
1 tspCumin powder
1 tbspcoriander powder
1 tspred chilli powder
1 tspturmeric powder
1 tspginger paste
1 tspCumin seeds
1red chilli
1bay leaf
To tastesalt and sugar
As neededoil

Steps

Roast daal and boil until it is half done
2

Add rice and boil till it is soft
3

Heat oil in a pan add cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole
4

Add ginger paste and saute well
5

Add peas,tomato,cumin coriander powder and red chilli Powder
6

Mix all and pour into the pot,add sugar,salt and turmeric powder
7

Serve it hot with fried vegetables
