Place a large pot on medium heat, add water and sugar, and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Crush the lemongrass stalks and ginger, add them to the sugar water, and simmer for another 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool. - 2
Then, pour the cooled lemongrass water into a glass, add ice cubes, and squeeze in the lime juice. Adjust the sweetness and sourness to taste.
