Ingredients

  1. 1 cupraw rice (Basumathi rice)
  2. 2 cupswater
  3. 2 cupscurd
  4. 2 noschilly green
  5. 1 tspginger grated
  6. 1 tspmustard seed asafoetida jeerakam , powder and each
  7. 1 tbspurad dal
  8. 1 tbspcurry leaves corriander ,and leaves each
  9. 1chilly dry red
  10. 1carrot grated
  11. 1 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Add one cup of rice to 2 cups of boiling water and cook till the rice is soft.

    Take out from fire,and mix the rice with 2 cups of curd and required salt.Now splutter the mustard seed in the hot oil in a pan,add jeerakam,urad dal,redchilly,followed by grated ginger,curry leaves,green chilly, and asafoetida powder.Take out from fire and add these to the rice-curd mixture.Mix thoroughly.Serve hot or cold.Decorate with grated carrot and corriander leaves on the top. Delicious curd rice is ready
