Ingredients

  1. I kg SAAG OR MUSTARD LEAVES
  2. 1/3 portionSPINACH to mustard leaves
  3. GARLIC GINGER estimated
  4. 4-5green chilis
  5. BROCCOLI optional
  6. 2onions
  7. 2tomatoes
  8. 2 tablespoonsSALT
  9. 2 tablespoonsRED CHILI POWDER
  10. 1 tablespoonBLACK PEPPER POWDER
  11. 1 tablespoonKITCHEN KING
  12. 1 tablespoonTURMERIC
  13. 1/4 tablespoonHING OR ASAFETIDA
  14. 4-5 tablespoonsMAKKI KA ATTA OR INDIAN SWEET CORN FLOUR

Steps

  1. 1

    First chop the mustard leaves or saag and spinach and green chilli

  2. 2

    Now add one glass water in cooker and put mustard and spinach and green chilli.let sit.wait until 4 to 5 whistles done

  3. 3

    Now at other side roast ginger and garlic

  4. 4

    Now put chopped onion and let make it golden brown and add chopped tomatoes

  5. 5

    Now put all the spices one by one slowly and roast the masala at low flame

  6. 6

    When boiled things become cool add sweet Indian corn flour and grind it gently with hand blender

  7. 7

    Now at low flame you can add some water inside cooker grinded mixture and let sit for 9 to 10 minutes

  8. 8

    Now add masala inside boiled mixture and turn the gas off

  9. 9

    Yummy sarso ka saag is ready to enjoy with naan or roti
