Spicy Buffalo Ranch Bok Choy Chips

It's spring and that means lots of health noms from my garden! I'm so excited to start eating healthy and home grown again! I came up with this recipe when the bok choy started to bolt and I had tons of the stuff and nothing to do with it. My hubby suggested that I make "kale chips" out of them but I was in the mood for something spicy. Since I have been really into Franks hot sauce lately I decided to use it as my inspiration and what goes better with hot sauce than ranch? You guessed it... nothing! ^_^ I have made a video of the recipe and posted it to YouTube if you would like to check that out too. https://youtu.be/6hEL-tDt5Mw

Ingredients

15 mins
  1. 1 bunchBok Choy (or bok choi or pak choi or whatever... Kale works too)
  2. 2 TblsFrank's hot sauce
  3. 2 TblsAardvark habanero sauce
  4. 1 packetRanch dressing mix

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean, dry, and remove stems from bok choy

  2. 2

    Combine a 2Tbls each of Franks hot sauce and Aardvark sauce (or hot sauce of choice)

  3. 3

    Toss bok choy leaves in hot sauce mix to coat.

  4. 4

    Place coated leaves on a parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with ranch dressing mix to taste.

  5. 5

    Bake at 325 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. Be sure to check on them right at 10 minutes to prevent burning.

  6. 6

    Remove chips from baking tray and let cool.

  7. 7

    Enjoy!
