Ingredients

  • 21/2 cupsflour
  • 11/2 cupssugar
  • 11/2 cupsveg oil
  • 2eggs
  • 1tspn baking soda
  • 1 tbspncocoapowder
  • 1 cupbuttermilk
  • 2 tbspnred food colour
  • 1tspn flavour
  • Mix all the dried ingredients together in a bowl & sift
  • Make a hole in the middle of the dried ingredients
  • Pour in the buttermilk, colour, eggs & oil & mix
  • Mix with the manual hand whisker and pour into the pan
  • Bake at a lower heat for at least 1hr
