Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssifted flour (about 250 grams)
  2. 1 cupsemolina (about 160 grams)
  3. 2 tablespoonssugar
  4. 1 teaspoonyeast
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 3 cupswarm water (about 710 ml), or a little less as needed
  7. Nigella seeds

Steps

    Place all the dry ingredients in a blender, add the water, and blend until the mixture is very well combined.

  2. 2

    The batter should be thick but pourable. Let the batter rest for 5 to 10 minutes to rise slightly. If the batter thickens too much after resting, thin it with a little water.

  3. 3

    Heat a nonstick skillet with a thick bottom. Once hot, reduce the heat and pour the batter into circles of your desired size. Before the batter dries and cooks completely, sprinkle a little nigella seed on top.
