Steps

Heat oil and temper cumin seeds and bay leaf

Add onion and ginger garlic and saute

Add salt and turmeric powder and saute

Now add cumin-coriander powder, red chilli Powder mix until oil separates

Add cheakpeas and mix well along with chana masala

Add sugar (optional) mix well and serve
