#authormarathon. At 21 weeks finally, it's been a long and exciting experience. To top it all off is my bhajia recipe (one of my favourite dishes).
Steps
- 1
Peel the potatoes.
- 2
Slice the potatoes to a suitable thickness, ensuring it's not too thick or too thin so they cook through evenly.
- 3
In a bowl, add the gram flour, paprika, garam, turmeric, salt, pepper and coriander. Mix all the ingredients together.
- 4
Add cold water to make a thick batter, just add a little water at a time.
- 5
In a saucepan, heat the oil that you will use to deep fry.
- 6
Dip the sliced potatoes to the thick batter one at a time as you put them in the hot oil.
- 7
Cook until golden brown. Repeat process until all the bhajia is cooked.
- 8
Serve hot as an accompaniment and with a cold beverage. Enjoy 😋.
