Ingredients

45 mins
  • 1small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 stickbutter
  • 33 oztomato soup
  • 1 qthalf & half (or regular milk)
  • 12 ozcream cheese (1 1/2 bricks)
  • 16 ozcan diced tomatoes
  • 16 ozcan stewed tomatoes
  • 1 Tbgarlic powder
  • 2 Tbdried basil
  • 1 1/2 tspMorton's Nature's Seasoning
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Croutons

Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

    Saute onion in butter

  2. 2

    In blender, combine soup, half & half, cream cheese, and tomatoes. Small amounts at a time.

  3. 3

    Add mixture to onions in pot.

  4. 4

    Add garlic powder, basil and Morton's Seasoning to pot.

  5. 5

    Simmer 20-30 min

  6. 6

    Optional - top with mozzarella and croutons for serving
