In a bowl...mix margarine,oil and sugar..if using a mixer..the faster your ingredients will blend..if using a wooden spoon..takes a little bit longer to form the paste

Add your slightly whisked egg and mix into the paste

Add your flour and salt and fold gently with a wooden spoon(ditch the mixer at this point) until crumbs are formed

Add your warm milk and fold with a wooden spoon to incorporate the milk

Ditch the spoon and start kneading your dough until the flour doesn't stick to your bowl.add a little more flour if dough is still sticky after a minute of kneading

Once dough is soft,cover with a cling film or a dump clean kitchen clothe

Let sit for about 20-30minutes..the more time it sits the better😁

Knead your dough once more and divide into 4 balls

Roll on a floured/oiled surface and cut as desired

Fry in a pan with hot oil until both sides are golden brown

Serve with desired choice of breakfast and enjoy with family and friends😁😋
