Ingredients

10mins at 250°C
10 servings
  • 2 cupsflour
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 3tblspn powdered milk
  • 1tspn instant yeast
  • 1/2 cupwarm water
  • 1egg
  • 1/2tspn milk flavour
  • 3tblspn salted butter
  • For the paste
  • 3tblspn cinnamon powder
  • 6tblspn sugar
  • 6tblspn melted butter enough for the paste

Steps

10mins at 250°C

    In a bowl, add warm water followed by yeast and allow to settle for 10sec. Add milk, sugar, flavour and egg then whisk together.

    Add flour and stir very well, 1 cup at a time then knead until soft and not sticky. Finally add butter and knead again. Allow it to rise in a warm place covered for 15mins. Set the oven and baking pan after that.

    After it has risen, spread the dough in a rectangular shape, spread the paste and roll, then cut into circular portions and set for baking.

    Bake until golden Brown, serve hot or cool with tea or a drink. Toppings can be done with chocolate syrup, glaze or caramel.
