Steps

First take a cooker add ghee when become hot add chopped garlic, ginger then add chopped onion, tomatoes, when they become soft add salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder. Properly saute the tadka.

Then add yellow daal and water and cover the cooker. When 1 whistle come and then slow the flame for 2 min. And switch off the gas.

Now yellow dal tadka is ready garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
