Preheat oven to a moderate heat. Grease the pan lightly with butter and dust with flour.

Cream together butter and sugar until soft, creamy and fluffy

Sift together the flour and salt

Break eggs into a bowl and whisk

Pour the whisked egg into the creamer mixture and stir until smooth

Gradually fold in the flour into the barter and ensure the flour is well mixed

Pour the barter into the greased pan and bake in a moderately hot oven for about an hour.

Test the cake by inserting a tooth pick or knife in to the center to check if it is done.

Place the cake pan on a cooling rack to cool for 20 minutes before inverting on the rack to cool completely.
