I got this lovely recipe from my friend, Lynn.

Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 1 lb.stew beef, browned and dredged in flour
  2. to tasteSalt, pepper, garlic powder,
  3. 1/2 cupflour, for dredging
  4. 28 oz.can of diced tomatoes
  5. 1small onion finely chopped
  6. 3beef bouillon cubes
  7. 4 cupshot water
  8. 2bay leaves
  9. 1 lb.potatoes, cut into bite size pieces
  10. 1 cupcarrots, peas or any other desired vegetables

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Brown the stew beef in a skillet on med-high heat, add salt, pepper and garlic powder, drain and dredge in flour. Add to crockpot sprayed with cooking spray.

    Add all other ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.

  3. 3

    Remove the bay leaves and enjoy with a loaf of Italian bread.
