Kheer is known to be the best dessert in our family especially my hubby loved it . Usually I make it twice in a month on weekends.

Boil milk add soaked rice and elaichi in it.

#tip : put 2 good quality stainless steel spoons in kheer. Cook on low falme. Its a magic. Kheer won’t stick to the bottom. Check time to time.

Don’t cover the lid. Let it cook on medium flame. The more you cook the more you get creamish kheer colour.

Cook for more 15-20 minutes.

Remove from heat and add kewra essence. Cover the lid now...

It should neither too liquidy nor to thick. It will become thick after cooling down.

Set in bowls and sprinkle soaked chopped almonds and pistachios.

Refrigerate and serve chilled. You can sprinkle blanced pistachios also.

Let it cook for at least 2 hours.

When kheer colour turn creamish add comelle / condensed milk or sugar. You can add evaporated milk too.
