In a pressure cooker take oil add jeera, Tomato,hing, garlic and saute. Add chopped palak and saute.

Add peanuts, turmeric powder,red chilli powder and mix well.

Add washed and drained daland rice. Add salt sugar and mix well.
- 4
Add water (3-4 times the quantity of dal&rice) and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Serve hot with ghee, Kadhi, papad, achar...fried onions..
