Ingredients

  1. 11/2 kgchicken pieces
  2. 1/2 cupcurd
  3. 1 tablespoonsattu
  4. As neededoil
  5. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  6. 2 teaspoonsred chilli powder
  7. 1 teaspoonkashmir red chilli powder
  8. As neededwater
  9. to tastesalt
  10. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  11. 2 teaspoonsdry roasted jeera dhania black pepper powder
  12. 11/2 cupsonion tomato, garlic, ginger masala
  13. 1/2 teaspoonjeera
  14. 1 tablespoongaram masala
  15. 2bay leaves
  16. Pinchhing
  17. 1 tablespoondry fenugreek leaves

Steps

    First wash the chicken pieces

  2. 2

    Then take a big mixing bowl, add the chicken in the bowl.

  3. 3

    Put the 2teaspoons oil, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, curd, sattu, salt, dry roasted masala in the bowl,

  4. 4

    Rub the chicken pieces thoroughly by the masala.

  5. 5

    Keep rest

  6. 6

    After that heat the pan, add oil in the pan

  7. 7

    When it is heated add the bay leaves, garam masala, jeera and hing one after another,

  8. 8

    When it is crackle, add the onion masala in the oil mix it well

  9. 9

    Keep stirring, it takes few minutes,

  10. 10

    And when it is thickned and oil evaporates from the masala.

  11. 11

    Add the chicken masala and keep stirring.

  12. 12

    Now add the garam masala powder then kashmir red chilli powder, give it a well mix,

  13. 13

    Then add the fenugreek leaves in the pan, keep stirring,

  14. 14

    Then put required water in the pan,

  15. 15

    When starts boiling cover with the lid in high flame, keep it for half an hour,

  16. 16

    Then reduce the flame and keep it for more times add the green onion to the top of chicken curry

  17. 17

    Delicious curry is ready.
