In a pot, cook the chicken with water until it is done. Add enough water in order to get 3 cups of broth at the end of cooking for later use.

Take out the chicken from the pan and reserve the broth. Separate the meat of the chicken from the bones.

Fry the vermicelli in vegetable oil until it turns golden brown.

Add in the rice, tomato paste, pepper and salt over the vermicelli and pour in 3 cups of the reserved chicken broth.

Cook until the rice is tender.

Serve the rice with the chicken meat on top.
