3 cupsbasmati rice, washed and drained
1/2 cupthin noodles, vermicelli
2 teaspoonssalt
4 tablespoonsolive oil, or vegetable oil
water

Wash and drain rice. Reserve.

In a saucepan pour oil and fry noodles until brown.

Add rice and stir until it is soaked in the oil and evenly mixed with noodles.

Add water just half an inch (1 cm) above the rice.

Cover the saucepan. When water boils, lower to low heat.

When rice has soaked all water, it is ready.
