Wash and soak the basumati rice

Grind tomato, chillies ginger, garlic, mint, coriander

Heat two spoon oil in kadai add shahjeera, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, somp, green chillies,salt, chopped onionand fry till golden

Add biryani masala and ground paste and mix. Add diced carrot and green peas

Add half cup coconut milk and half cup water and bring to boil. Drain water from rice and add

Cook covered on low heat till the rice is tender. Add two spoon ghee
- 7
Dishout and garnish. Serve with any gravy curry or onion raita
