By Samantha, these are a cross between scones and muffins they are so buttery and crumbly. It's hard to stop at just one!
Steps

Heat oven to 200

Rub the flour and butter in a bowl with fingers until you get a bread crumb consistency

Mix in the sugar and mixed fruit and peel

Add egg and milk until it forms a stiff dough. More milk may be needed

Grease the muffin tin slightly
- 6
Separate the dough equally and place into the greased muffin tray. Into around 8 portions

Bake for around 20-25 minutes or until golden
- 8
