Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupOats
  2. 1/4 cupGreen Peas
  3. 1 cupWater
  4. 1 tbspCoconut Oil
  5. 1Onion (Chopped)
  6. 1Green Chilli
  7. 1 sprigCurry Leaves
  8. 1/2" Ginger (Minced)
  9. 2 ClovesGarlic (Crushed)
  10. 1/2Tomato (Chopped)
  11. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  12. 1/2 tspCoriander Powder
  13. 1/4 tspChilli Powder
  14. PinchPepper Powder
  15. 1/4 tspGaram Masala
  16. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat coconut oil in a pan on low heat. Add the onions and saute till the onions are translucent.

  2. 2

    Add the green chilli, curry leaves, ginger and garlic and fry for few more minutes.

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes and salt and cook for 5 more minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the spice powders and saute for a minute.

  5. 5

    Add peas and little water and cook for few minutes.

  6. 6

    Add the oats and water and simmer for 25 minutes on low heat. Serve warm.
