Mix chia seeds with 3 tbsp of water and set aside for about 15 minutes to thicken. Stir to loosen a bit-the mixture will be very thick and gloppy.

Carmelize onions.

Roughly mash black beans.

Add all ingredients and mix well to combine.

Using hands, roll mixture into six even sized balls and flatten into pattie shape.

When ready to eat pan fry with little bit olive oil until golden on both sides
