Steps

In a bowl add in the cooked yam mash it until there is no visible lumps add the cooked chicken diced onion, salt, Scotch bonnet paste, seasoning and mix very well

Peel, cut and wash yam,put in a pot and add water, little salt and cover and allow it to cook

Scoop it with hands and form a ball coat with breadcrumbs and keep aside until all done

In a separate bowl break egg, whisk and keep aside.. Bring oil to hot take the yamballs 1 at a time deep it into the egg and coat with breadcrumbs then deep it into the hot oil fry both sides until golden brown
