Ingredients

  • 1small bowl dal
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 2chillies chopped
  • 1 cmchopped ginger
  • as requiredcoriander for garnishing if you like
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • as requiredoil or ghee for cooking
  • as requiredwater for boiling dal

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the dal and boil it.

  2. 2

    Take a vessel put ghee or oil heat it and put cumin seeds.

  3. 3

    Now add chopped onion and green chilli,ginger chopped

  4. 4

    When it gets golden put chopped tomato.

  5. 5

    Once get soft then add spices mentioned above and mix well.

  6. 6

    Now add boiled dal and mix well.It is ready to serve with rice or chappati.
