Wash rava and keep aside for fifteen minutes. Grind rice using little water

Mix curd, ground rice paste and keep aside for half an hour. Add salt and coking soda and mix into idli batter consistancy. Add little water if required

Grease a idli plate and pour batter, steam cook for ten minutes
- 4
Serve hot with chutney, sambar, ghee or chutney powder. We get eight idlis with one cup rice
