Canning Homemade Salsa Canning Homemade Salsa
Canning salsa is easy. It's so inspiring to me to be able to take my summer harvest of veggies from the garden and turn them into a lasting source of food for my family. It also allows me to do fun projects with my husband, Donk, and share our ideas in the kitchen! If you want super hot salsa, just add more jalapeños to this recipe. This will have a shelf life of a couple of years and has an awesome flavor for your Mexican dishes. James Freeman (Donk) -
Canning Homemade Salsa Canning Homemade Salsa
In my house hold we love our salsa. This recipe is for canning and makes about 11 pints depending on the size of the tomatoes. We use fresh ingredients from our own garden when possible Usually we can about 2 batches a year. I puree' all the ingredient but you can chop to any consistency you desire. joshedgewood -

Pickled Jalapeños + Pickled Jalapeños +
My brother-in-law, André, enjoys gardening and grows loads of beautiful jalapeños especially for me. I love them and use in a lot of my recipes. They're quick and easy to pickle for the fridge. I strongly recommend wearing latex gloves when handling the jalapeños. We had a couple of leftover mini bells sweet peppers from André's garden that I also used because I liked the red/green contrast. Then he brought in a mess of beautiful banana peppers, and I thought what the heck....in they went. They're delicious! Maggie Conlon -

Lacto Fermented Jalapeños Lacto Fermented Jalapeños
Fermented jalapenos are super easy to make. They are a great addition to any sandwich or salad. They are spicy and salty and garlicky. Lacto fermenting jalapenos is also a great way to preserve jalapeno peppers.Seeker81
