Three-cup chicken are taiwanese cuisine. The three cups means a cup of sesame oil, a cup of rice wine, and a cup of soy sauce. However, the amount of sauce can be adjusted, also add sugar, spring onion, ginger, garlic and thai-basil. it's very taiwanese style cuisine.
thai basil is a very important ingredient in this dish. it needs plenty of amount.

Ingredients

  • 1chicken thigh (cubes)
  • 20 gspiring onion
  • 30-50 gthai basil
  • 1chili pepper (slices)
  • 5-7 clovesgarlic
  • 20 gginger (thin pieces)
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce pasee
  • 2 tbsprice wine
  • 3 tbspsesame oil
  • 1 tbspcrystal sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 3 tbsp sesame oil, add chicken cubes, pan-fry till the color becomes brown.

    Add spring onion (white part), garlic, ginger and chili pepper. stir-fry for 1 min.

    Add crystal sugar, soy sauce, soy sauce paste and wine. stir-fry until caramelizing, as the sauce thickens (about 2 min)

    Add spring onion (green part), thai basil. stir-fry for 30sec. it's done!
