Ingredients

  1. Dough
  2. 1 big bowl wheat flour
  3. 2 cupsJowar flour
  4. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  5. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. 1 tsp Carrom seeds
  7. 2 tsp crushed garlic
  8. 1 tspSalt
  9. As neededOil
  10. as neededWater
  11. Tadka
  12. 1 tsp crushed garlic
  13. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  14. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. 1 pinchAsafoetida
  17. 1/2 cupfresh coriander leaves
  18. as neededWater
  19. 1/2 cupwheat flour, Jowar flour slurry (mix with water)
  20. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a kadhai or deep vessel take oil add cumin and crushed garlic and saute. Add turmeric, red chilli powder and saute

    Add water, coriander powder, salt

    Add coriander leaves,flour slurry (to get creamy texture)

    Mix all ingredients under dough section and knead a medium dough. Make thin tube like structure and cut 3" pieces and connect as shown. Make them ready before you make tadka

    These are shengole/ indian pasta

    When the water in kadhai comes to boil add them and stir frequently.. They float once cooked. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
