Cooking Instructions

Wash the sprouts.I am using a mixture of black chick pea (kaala chana)and whole green gram(saboot moong)sprouts.

Chop onions, tomato and green chilli.

Cook them in microwave for 1 1/2 mins.

MiX sprouts,onion, tomato and green chilli.Add salt, black pepper powder and toss them.

Sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.Eat it or pack in the tiffin.

RECEPIE NOTES — you can use moth sprouts also.we can cook sprouts in kadhi also.Add 1/2tsp oil,splluter jeera,add little haldi and salt.Add moth sprouts and 2 Tbsp water and mix Cover and cook till tender

Don't overcook the sprouts.cook for 3 - 4 mins. on a slow flame.

If you like you can eat it plain, early in the morning.It is a very healthy startyou can eat raw sprouts also.But only 2 - 3 tbsp.

We prefer to slightly cook them, to make sprouts good for digestion.And by cooking we can have a bowl full of sprouts.

We can omit raw onions,as some people don't like raw onions.You can saute onions in little olive oil or any oil slightly and then add to the sprouts.

We can avoid tomatoes during summer when the weather is too hot. As tomatoes will not remain fresh.

If you are packing sprouts in tiffin, don't sprinkle lemon juice,instead give deseeded lemon slice.We can avoid lemon juice as we have added chat masala.

You can add olives,boiled corn and jalopinoes also if you like.So many variations can be done.You can add apples,orange, pomegranate and even cocumber.

You can add walnuts and use honey lemon dressing also.Use your imagination and create a healthy bowl of salad or a wholesome protein meal.
