Wash and dice 5 of the onions into small cubes.Cut the remaining onion in rings and put them in the warm salt water.

In a bowl combine the minced meat, spices, salt,onions, flour and egg.

Divide the meat mixture into sizeable portions.Roll them up to form balls then flatten them between your palms.The egg and flour help in holding the shape

In a shallow pan heat the oil.Shallow fry the meat patties on both sides till they are golden brown.

Drain the onion rings and pat them dry with a clean serviette to remove excess water.

Cut the tomatoes and cucumber in thin rings.

Cut your bun in half, width wise.and start assembling your vegetables on the bun.Start with a lettuce leaf, slices of tomatoes, onions and cucumber then place your meat Pattie.Put the dressings of your choice i.e ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise.On top of the meat Pattie add more vegetables and finish with a lettuce leaf.Put the top half of the bun and insert a sizeable skewer or tooth pick to hold everything in place.
