To start with take a chopping board and cut the almonds..then peel and grate gourd in bowl..then sqeezed out the water and drain it..

Take a pan and add a grated gourd(dudhi)..after 2-3 minute add milk...mix it well and cook in midum high flame until milk is burnt...it's took 30-35 minute.but you have to patience...when milk is burnt then add sugar...now let the sugar dissolve..cook 5 minute on medium heat.then add pinch of green food colour.mix it.then add ghee and cardomom powder and almond...mix it well.cook until water is disolve.now halwa is ready...garnish with cardomom powder and almonds...
